Eurozone Greece Bailout and how it affects business?

-Hi,

I'm kind of trying to get my head around the bailout for Greece. I've read about the proposed reforms such as the buyback scheme and bond swap initiatives.

But I would like an explanation of the wider effect this will have on general business in terms of the strength of the EURO (and anything else you can think of)

Thanks :DThe strength of the Euro is more about speculators gambling on future rates than what the economy is doing, and of course interest rates plays a big part in that. In the UK for instance, a strong Euro means cheaper exports, but what does the UK export other than technology and British beef. On the otherhand, it is dearer to buy imports and that is one reason food, fuel and other essentials may rise.

As for the Euro, they will make it work as there is no way back. Even countries within the EU who don't have the Euro would not escape if the Euro fell
