How do you pitch a news show idea to the large news networks?
-I have a brilliant idea for a political news commentary show Ala Crossfire, hardball, etc. Assume it's good (which i believe it is), does anybody know the process for pitching the idea to CNN, FoxNews, Cspan, etc? Do they accept show ideas from other parties or is it all done internally?
If anybody knows the answer could you also info on the process AFTER the pitch as well, ie would they work with me to get the show going? Would they just take the idea, or could i remain involved? etc etc.

Eurozone Greece Bailout and how it affects business?

I'm kind of trying to get my head around the bailout for Greece. I've read about the proposed reforms such as the buyback scheme and bond swap initiatives.
But I would like an explanation of the wider effect this will have on general business in terms of the strength of the EURO (and anything else you can think of)

In the UK for instance, a strong Euro means cheaper exports, but what does the UK export other than technology and British beef. As for the Euro, they will make it work as there is no way back. Even countries within the EU who don't have the Euro would not escape if the Euro fell

Who keeps killing all the Iranian nuclear scientist?
-Why don`t Iran do a better job of protecting them? Build a secret society within a society or just have them wear a mask to work. Why can`t Iran have a nuclear reactor? How can I find out how strong an earthquake is without watching the news ( I Need to Know)?
-There was an earthquake at 12:30 am in Carson City,California, and i got really startled. But i remember being in a 4.4 earthquake, so it was MUCH stronger. I heard weird noises (like, its hard to explain, from an old door) coming from the earth which scared me even more. I knew something was going to happen by hearing the sounds, but i didn't know it was going to be an earthquake that lasted a couple of seconds long. So the inevitable happened. Amy Whinehouse has died. I won't lie, I have never heard any of her material until today after seeing nothing but all these comments about how they know her of the song "Rehab" or that she was such a talented singer and musician that produced a fusion of jazz and this and that and POP, let's not forget the POP! I see nothing but comments like these everywhere I turn on the internet. It's like watching the burnout kid in high school die and everyone in the school tells the news stations "He was such a good kid, I never expected this to happen. Sob sob." I wonder if there is "counseling services" links attached to her Youtube Vevo which will reach the 10 million mark by tomorrow making advertisers very happy.
Now I don't mean disrespect (I really don't) but let's be real here. She was a one hit wonder. I finally listened to the "Rehab" track today amoung a couple others to make sure I wasn't listening to the wrong song. It just sounded like Jazz with Lauren Hill of the Fugees singing along to it. I actually imagined her being behind the set doing the vocals while this junkie looking woman was lipsyncing. Yes I said it, a junkie. She had one album that took her forever to do and got a bunch of grammy's so more records would sell since there was a bunch of money put into it since she was shooting or smoking it all up. She writes a song about not going to rehab and SURPRISE!! She's a junkie! The media follows her like she's Casey Anthony with their daily lists of drugs and alcohol she's consuming and who she's dating and breaking up with at the time. Typical tabloid stuff. Same as watching any of the people in California who is famous for not doing anything. Examples of this is Lohan, Hilton, the whole Jersey Shore cast and any other cast member of any reality show on MTV, Kardasians, you get the picture. Funny how these are mostly females. So Whinehouse gets a single that's JAZZ and people think it's the new different thing when it's just JAZZ with some junkie white girl singing along to it. I've heard a ton of vocals just like it that don't require autotune. People also talk about how she's in "The 27 Club" with the likes of REAL musicians who had MULTIPLE hits and not just ONE single from ONE album. So don't disgrace the rest of "the club" by adding what is just a musician that was nearly forgotten about in the first place. A LOT of people only know her for being a junkie rather than her unoriginal music if they heard of her at all. I'm one of these people.

We follow it like the distraction we need when we aren't on Facebook. We all knew it would happen and if you didn't then you've been under a rock and need to clean your ears. If you were surprised and are crying or in awe about it, you're a fool. Whinehouse didn't give a **** and knew the self-destructive choices she was making would land her on the slab. Now we just await toxicology reports a few weeks from now after we forget about the mass article on all the tabs and on Yahoo News about her "last hours" of doing all these drugs or whatnot just to find out she died of the flu and was allergic to pennicilin or a bee sting or got knocked in the head by bonking it on a shelf while getting up and went out like consumor goods invester extrordinaire Billy Mays.
Point of all this is Amy is in a better place now. Just like Kurt Cobain, Jimmy Hendrix, and any other person who is ridden with drug addiction. The pain is over. She is no longer a specticle like junkies become. That is more respectible than her crappy life she left behind. That's all that really matters.

What does this say about the Police Forces in Norway?
-"The shooting spree at a youth camp lasted an hour and a half as Norwegian police struggled to access the camp by boat, police officials say at a news conference."
Nothing good - that is for sureIt says to me that police in pacifistic countries like Norway may be trained, but they're woefully unprepared.The camp was located on an island, one hours drive away. So, they had to drive for one hour and then take a boat for 10 to 15 minutes to the island. And then take 10 to 15 minutes to access the situation before deciding on a course of action. In addition to that, they were also dealing with a massive explosion of the government building in Oslo.
Under the circumstances, I think the police force handled the situation remarkably. There were almost 800 campers on the island. There could have been a much higher number of deaths.
Any helicopter trying to land would have been a target.
In hindsight I am sure people will think about how things could have been done differently.
It didn't help that the Norwegian police don't carry guns. There are advantages and disadvantages of that policy. We have just seen the disadvantages.
Norway is a peaceful country that does not often have to deal with maniacal behavior that is so murderous and on a scale such as this event.
Certainly they will now have to spend great resources to train their police and emergency services to handle future terror disasters.
The police are not evil because they were not prepared for this, the people who did it are evil.
Maybe the camp was miles away from the nearest town. That happens. There are day camps that are deep in the woods and miles away from cities. I've been in one of them when i was a kid. Nothing good - that is for sureIt says to me that police in pacifistic countries like Norway may be trained, but they're woefully unprepared.The camp was located on an island, one hours drive away. So, they had to drive for one hour and then take a boat for 10 to 15 minutes to the island. And then take 10 to 15 minutes to access the situation before deciding on a course of action. In addition to that, they were also dealing with a massive explosion of the government building in Oslo.
Under the circumstances, I think the police force handled the situation remarkably. There were almost 800 campers on the island. There could have been a much higher number of deaths.
Any helicopter trying to land would have been a target.
In hindsight I am sure people will think about how things could have been done differently.
It didn't help that the Norwegian police don't carry guns. There are advantages and disadvantages of that policy. We have just seen the disadvantages.
Norway is a peaceful country that does not often have to deal with maniacal behavior that is so murderous and on a scale such as this event.
Certainly they will now have to spend great resources to train their police and emergency services to handle future terror disasters.
The police are not evil because they were not prepared for this, the people who did it are evil.

Me and my friends got a death threat?
-While we were in a public vehicle going home, a guy in a gold Vios started putting up insults using his hands, i got really pissed and couldn't stand it so i gave him the middle finger, they then when we went into a turn he winded down his car window and gave me a death threat, imitating cutting the neck with his finger. This really scares me because, we all went to my best friend's house that day because of a sleepover, what if they go to his house?!?

The arrested man is said to have purchased several tonnes of fertiliser a few days before blowing up the bomb he made using it.
Norway does not have any secret service to speak of. They do not have much CCTV either, as far as I know.

-Is it time we started treating these people more as a serious threat to our own national security? Western governments should start listening to the concerns of their own people and then incidents like this one could be avoided. It was only a matter of time before some right wing nuts took the course of action beyond peaceful protesting. This was an appalling incident that happened but again it's our own governments that get involved in Islamic affairs abroad increasing an anti Western sentiment among Muslims and then flooding our countries with foreign immigrants decreasing the internal stability of our own nations.
