Strangely enough "Capitalism". They export most of their goods to other countries. They use cheap labor. People in the other countries buy the goods because they are cheaper. Almost every product in Walmart is "Made in China".
All over the world - whilst we have been living on the never never they have been accumulating wealth in terms of US and UK Treasury bonds and hard currency in exchange for all sort of goods. Guess who was the clever one and who has been very stupid ?
