What was the supposed motive behind the attack in Norway?

-also, when, how this happened? and how he had time and ability to shoot 80 people?



when was the last time something like this happened in Europe?



what do people in Britain think of this as well as in the uSA? and why? how big of news it is now?

thanks for your answers!1. The motive is supposed to be that the man in question was an extreme right-winged man who hated the ideas of multicultural society and was not happy with the left-wing labour parties policies that they used in Norway.



2. He had the ability because it was a small island off the coast of Norway and he was the only person on the island with a gun. His targets were young people who were unable to defend themselves and even when the police were called it took them half an hour to reach the island. Therefore, it's a wonder more people weren't killed because everyone was totally defensless except him.



3. In Europe? There have been a lot of random shootings by mad men without real motives in recent years although nothing to this degree. The last major terrorist attacks in Europe were trains in Spain and tubes in the UK although these are about 5 years ago. The biggest attack was probably Lockerbie in 1988 when a plane was blown up over Scotland by an Islamic extremist.



4. Can't comment on the USA, but like everywhere I'm sure it has recieved a mixed reception. It's pretty big in the UK although slightly behind the Saline Killer who's just been charged with killing 5 people while employed as a nurse in a British hospital. So people are shocked but on the whole a little more interested in affairs at home.

He has talked in particular about the presence of Muslims in the country, and how the younger Muslim teens would hang in packs and harass and beat other children. It seems to me to be the source of his anger and probably the initial motivation for the attack. He was able to be so effective(ugh, can't think of a better word) in his attack because he posed as a police officer supposedly providing security after the bombing attack(which he was responsible for.) God bless the souls of the innocent victims, whatever race, color, creed.
At risk of sounding 'like' someone like this, it begins to appear to me there are increasing numbers of common folk resorting to acts the majority of us [are encouraged to ] consider atrocious, and THAT makes me wonder if we common people are getting unbiased information, or, reports that have been tweaked to fit some ideology that actually drives the growing population of outsiders to resort to what ever means possible to express there discontent with the way 'things' are these days.

I find i am asking myself more and more often, how / why do so many things like this happen if the current social situations are so 'good'...???.. obviously, some do NOT find it appealing, and I have every justification to doubt the integrity and honesty and objective of the powers that be, [ in the US any way ] and the news as it is reported. The powers that be and the news media are inseparable and conjoined and serve one another by default, if nothing else.

The whole world seems divided into those 2 ideology's.. those who resist changing there life-style, and those who insist on it. The 'problem' appears to be the richest of the 2 have media that influences the majority, while the discontented and unhappy poorer side have only there resolve and determination... and are portrayed as enemy's of humanity - terrorists - or insane or mental imbalanced outcasts.

What if they are just people who see an injustice but are without means of expressing there view?

What if what the medias are leading us too believe is in fact oppression, repression, and servitude to a wealthy upper-class of control maniacal self serving power junkies who care less and less about the lower class?

What if what we are seeing today is just the birthing of a movement that may one day be revolutionary and beneficial in it's maturity to the MAJORITY, rather than just to the rich?

SOMETHING is wrong.. what ever it is, it isn't going away. That's obvious.
Since the police are not saying, anything we say will be a guess

But from what has already been reported (and speculated) this mutt was a right wing fanatic who felt that Norway was being destroyed by the governments policies.

He felt that the government was not doing enough to keep Norway "pure" ans was actually encouraging immigration by other races and cultures



So he took it upon himself to perform a "regime change" by blowing up the government buildings (with the governors inside) and killing their children.

He is the kind of person the death penalty is designed for.
