What past president (living or dead) would you like to see in office right now, and why?

He got on well with China, which is important as they seem to own much of the United States of Debt at the moment.Harry Truman. He was the most honest, straightforward president ever. Harry would tell you to your face where to get off if you crossed him but he would be the first to forgive you if you asked him to.

He helped repair the world after the horrific damage of WW2 and stood up to communism more than any president, even Reagan.

The top income tax rate under Truman was 91%. There was almost no unemployment and working people could actually live on what they earned and even save a little.

They don't make them like HST anymore.
John F. Kennedy- a presence, a calming presence, hope, organization, hey he prevented a nuclear war too

Ronald Reagan- wouldn't take any crap from the Middle East terrorist groups or Iran or anyone else

Abraham Lincoln- beat the heads together of the Democrats and the Republicans and make them behave the nice way by COMPROMISE
Thomas Jefferson or George Washington. They would push the reset button and get rid of this huge out of control Federal government.
Bill Clinton... the interns all miss him. They are people too !

And we could "impeach his sorry butt" all over again ! That

would be fun.
